Hotel Charles is very close to several of the best-known landmarks of Budapest: Gellert Hill and Castle Hill. Due to its central location, the sights of the Hungarian capital are easy to reach by foot or on public transportation. The famous Vaci pedestrian shopping street is just two bus stops down the hill, with the bus stopping right in front of the hotel. In the hotel, recently refurbished Standard and Deluxe Studios are available with small equipped kitchens and bathrooms; they have all been recently refurbished and the latter ones are as nice as four star hotel rooms. Most of the 70 studios are double (fit for an extra bed or a baby cot as well), some are triple. Business guests can access computers, a fax machine, photocopying and printing, as well as free WiFi throughout the hotel building. At the reception, the hotel staff speaking various languages ensures a welcome stay. Janos Restaurant, located in the hotel building, offers a rich buffet breakfast each morning. Throughout the rest of the day, it offers excellent dishes and quality wines for business lunches as well as nice dinners. Apart from Hungarian cuisine, International delicacies are also offered. Groups may use a separate area for holding events. For children, high-chair is available. Guests arriving by car may use the closed court of the hotel for parking for a surcharge. Free parking is available in the neighbourhood as well. Bicycle rental is available at the reception.
