Hotel Elizabeth is situated in one of the nicest towns on the southern part of the great Hungarian plain, in the centre of Gyula, close to the famous spa and the unique Gothic castle. Hotel guests can enjoy the view of historical surroundings from the hotel, from the bar, and from most of the rooms. The original wing of the castle-hotel was built in 1905, another wing was added 30 years later - the hotel is named after this second wing, which frequently hosted Queen Elizabeth. The Tunderkert Wellness Centre offers pools with adventure elements, a jacuzzi, an aroma cabin, a Finnish and an infra sauna, a sauna shower, a steam cabin, a sun deck and various massages.
