Hotel Tisza is situated in the central square of Szeged, in a 120 year-old historic building. As the region's most elegant hotel, it offers exclusive services and comfortable, Colonial style rooms and apartments, unique conference, ball and concert rooms, clubs and a garage. The hotel was built in 1885 and for decades its ballroom hosted many notable events; it was closed in 1949, and opened again following a reconstruction in 1963.
